The installation belongs to the multi-part work group Moving and Space Forming Objects, whose first site-specific intervention took place in Warsaw in October 2015. It was not a self-contained event, but the starting point of a continued engagement with an unfinished building structure whose architectural purpose had already been compromised before it could ever be realized.
In 2016, the work returned to this site. Into the skeletal shell beneath a bridge an unfinished structure of steel beams and concrete slabs originally planned as a shopping center a walkable Inflatable was tensioned. The intervention used the existing construction as a counterforce and unstable matrix, in which form emerged from tension, pressure, air, wind, and architectural constraint.
The work does not conceive of space as a neutral container, but as a provisional field of forces. Wind becomes the co-producer of form.
